Thomas Edison was an inventor that provided the basic foundation for technology that we still use today and improved on.
Thomas Edison created the light bulb, phonograph, the movie camera and much more. These technologies like the light bulb are taken for granted because most of the world uses light from the basic light bulb, led, and flashlights. After numerous failures, Edison finally found the perfect material for the filament, thus replacing the lamps that used kerosene and oil. html challenges who really created the light bulb stating that Edison is credited with inventing the light bulb, but the article states long before Edison created commercially light…. It goes without saying that the light bulb itself was nothing special. Without all the additional technology and developments that followed, such as power stations, transformers,….
Thomas Edison hired Nikola Tesla as an outside source to implement the idea. Stage three investigating the problem, it was failure for over 50 years and Edison found the problem to the solution. Stage four Thomas Edison changed the world forever by creating the light bulb and the company today known as General Electric Edison, Thomas Edison did not invent the electric light bulb, but he made the first commercial one by testing different metal filaments, until he discovered a carbon-based, high-resistance, filament. Why do we need stamps to mail a letter? Wouldn't our time buying and putting stamps on envelopes be better spent reading or sleeping? Just imagine a life without any of that.
In your whole life you probably spend hundreds of dollars on stamps alone. There are too many everyday tasks that prove to be hassles. As president I would put an end to all everyday hassles by forcing companies to make things easier, more efficient, and stop making things that we don't really need. Thomas Edison invented that light bulb. Some people most preeminent it's finest thing ever I however think it's terrible. You have to buy new light bulbs and change them almost every six months. Just think of how much time and money you have to spend on a light bulb then, multiply that by the number of light fixtures in your house. Thomas Edison may have invented light bulbs but it is said that the ones that are in his house are still working from when he lived there.
Imagine only having to buy light bulbs once in your whole life. It could be possible. The light bulb companies however have the patents for these and will not make them. The next thing I would change is I would make all clothing companies stop making animal print clothing. Pants and t-shirts with zebra print doesn't make me want to buy more things at that store. I have almost completely stopped shopping at Gap because of this. The leopard print underwear was okay because not an excessive amount of people would see them but do we really need shirts and pants to match them. I think not.
I'm sure that the animal rights activists are tackling this issue already but I would ban all animal print clothing. All it does for me is cause stress when I go shopping because it is practically the only thing that the stores sell. The most important thing I would change is having the DNR kill all of those stupid Japanese Beetles. I never noticed a problem of any sort that I would want some ladybug look alike to come in and kill. All they do is land on you and bite you then, you try to kill them and it leaves an orange mark and some stinky substance on your clothes. I would personally make the DNR kill them all or take them back to where ever they came from.
These obviously are not just any kind of bug because of how hard it is to kill them. It seems like everything you try doesn't work it just helps them reproduce. I read over this paper and wonder why people do these things. Our lives would be much easier and stress free without some of these troublesome things. Don't you ever look at an inventing and wonder what kind of moron had enough time to think of something like that? Just think of all the time, money, and energy you waste doing some of these everyday jobs. Just think of all the things we never use and all the things that annoy you. The elections were the subject of much debate over who would make the best president. Of course, there are plenty of people who are glad he was given the job over the other candidate. Do you think you could do a better job? If I were president, I would take the emphasis off of racial ethnicity and class and place it back where the Constitution began, which is that everyone was created equal. At the same time, America is a welcoming country and people should be taking the proper steps to become a legal resident of the country. Those with enough would be compelled to share and those who were lacking would get the help they need. The amount of food that is thrown away in America is appalling when so many people are going without a meal.
Grocery stores could give their surplus or less than perfect looking produce to food banks. Restaurants could donate end of the day leftovers to food kitchens or homeless shelters. Never again would a child have to feel the pains of being hungry. Parents would support teachers and teachers would support parents. Neither would be against the other and each would be focused solely on the education of the child and ensuring that he or she has a bright future. Funding would be pulled from politicians paychecks to help pay for the needs of every school. Teachers would be properly trained to work with students of all kinds and would be paid accordingly.
If I were president, the environment would become a top concern. People would be motivated to recycle and reuse things so that landfills could be kept from taking over their communities. Research dollars would be allocated toward developing environmentally friendly fuel sources and people and companies would be compensated for choosing solar panels and other things that are better for the environment. Protecting our world is important for future generations and educating the public about what they can do to help would be a top priority. If I were president, kindness would prevail and people would treat those around them with love, respect and basic courtesy.
I know I might be wearing rose colored glasses, but if people truly treated others as they want to be treated, the world would be a better place for everyone. Not everyone can become the president, but if those that do were better at doing what the people need and trying not to be ruled by money, every citizen of the country would benefit in a big way.
